Welcome to PEI School of the Arts

Artists and artisans will gather together in the beautiful fishing village of North Rustico this July to enjoy time away in an experiential artistic holiday setting.

Indulge yourself in uninterrupted time to tap into your creative spirit, hone your skills, learn a new skill, interact with others of like mind and receive instruction in your chosen creative area.

One-week summer workshops are offered in a wide variety of artistic fields. Attendees will be given the opportunity to learn, share, create, experiment and to produce a variety of artistic products in a non-threatening casual environment. Whether you choose pottery, tile mosaics, jewelry, painted floorcloths, writing, glass mosaics, watercolour or acrylics you are sure to enjoy a wonderful experience.

PEI School of the Arts has put together a diverse quality program for two weeks in July in a school setting. A number of PEI and maritime artists will be instructing the small class sessions and sharing our arts, culture and heritage. Some courses will include time outdoors, in our picturesque village, to inspire artists and the creative process.

As well as individual courses, PEI School of the Arts offers extra-curricular activities such as: a visit to an art gallery, a lobster supper and maritime kitchen party. Packages, including accommodation, are also available.
