The following optional activities have been planned for students at PEI School of the Arts. Tickets can be purchased at cost. 
July 7 – “Art Gallery Visit”, Brackley Beach
July 8 – “Traditional PEI Lobster Supper”, New Glasgow
July 9 - "Kitchen Party", Stanley Bridge
PEI School of the Arts Experience Package
Arts experience packages can be arranged. They include summer workshop course fee, extra-curricular activities (as l isted) and local accommodations. Further details available on request.
Local Offerings
North Rustico is a beautiful fishing village on the North Coast of Prince Edward Island. The picturesque harbour is a great setting for: walks along the boardwalk, sketching, picnicing, dining on a deck, sunbathing, watching the lobster boats, visiting the marine museum, swimming in the Gulf of the St. Lawrence, on North Rustico’s own beach, or as a launching point for a deep sea fishing tour.

The Canadian National Park beaches, campground, trails and the famous Cavendish tourist area with Avonlea Village, mini-putt golf, theme park, hiking trails, bike rentals, restaurants, theatre etc. are only 5 minutes from North Rustico.
Five beautiful 18 hole golf clubs, including Anne of Green Gables, Eagles Glen, New Glasgow, Anderson Creek are within 5 minutes of North Rustico.
Some of the most beautiful beaches in PEI are located in the area and offer a wide variety of water activities, walking, sunbathing etc. The red cliffs and white sand dunes are outstanding.
